Korea's first cardiovascular intervention assist robot system
The AVIAR system is to help treat patients with vascular diseases. The current focus is the PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) to treat cardiovascular diseases, which are one of the top causes of death worldwide. AVIAR combines advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, robotics, and biomaterial to improve the outcome of intervention procedures and reduce radiation exposure through remote operations. We pursue beyond the limits of conventional manual techniques and better implementation of robotic intervention procedures.
